Since ancient times, the concept of peace has been a multidimensional interpretive category. A variety of discourses spanning the gamut from the philosophical to the theological have sought to address the problems of human societies and how to preserve peace.  Many contemporary cultural trends are situated in opposition to traditional logocentrism and thus they make a lack of common field in the wider interpersonal communication. The paradoxical lack of the Logos in the intercultural dialogue leads to the violation of fundamental human rights and freedoms. The Forum will try to reply to this process by demonstrating the cultural regulativity of the concept of peace. The Conference will be held in the Polish city of Wroclaw during the Polish Presidency of the EU Council.
